Oneplus 6 - "The Speed You Need"

       Oneplus is all set to unleash its next flagship for this year and already internet is flooded with the rumors of the this BEAST. Other top players in the market like Samsung, already launched their flag ship called Galaxy S9 and S9+ models and other homegrown competitors for Oneplus like Huawei and Xioami had already opened their account by releasing their flagships for this year, and now its Oneplus time to release their next flagship on May 16 (1+6 - logic) in London followed by May 17 in India,Mumbai.

Specifications:

  As expected, new upcoming Oneplus 6 will be powered by the new Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6/8 GB RAM along with 64/128/256 GB internal storage options. Oneplus sports dual rear camera with the same set of lens (20MP + 16MP with f1.7 aperture) from the previous gen Oneplus 5T, but the front facing camera will have a little bump up from 16MP to 20MP with f2.0 aperture.

  

Display:

       Leaked rumors revealed that Oneplus 6 will have a 19:9 display with the legendary NOTCH on the top,which was confirmed by the CEO of Oneplus, Pete Lau at an interview and he states 'Learn to love the NOTCH'. 

        He also confirmed that Oneplus is working on to hide the notch just like Huawei P20 Pro and that will be available through future updates. Apart from that, Oneplus 6 will have a SuperAMOLED screen same as Oneplus 5T with full HD+ resolution with 2280 X 1080  at 401 ppi. Like Oneplus 5T recent update, we will expect a gesture based navigation controls just like an IPHONE 10. 

Other specifications:

Oneplus 6 might come with a glass back unlike other previous gen Oneplus devices and this was confirmed by the famous leakster 'Evan Blass' through his tweet. He teased a back side of Oneplus 6 which was textured with wood finish, which might be a skin one top of glass back. There were few more images floating around the internet confirms the existence of glass back and that might be a possibility of wireless charging capability because of glass back.

           Front and back side of Oneplus 6 was also confirmed by the famous case maker 'OLIXAR' and we could see that, it has a vertical camera on the back with 90% screen to body ratio on the front. Side bezels are too thin compared to last gen Oneplus 5T.

One good news for music lovers in that Oneplus retained the headphone jack on Oneplus 6 and it will be bundled with the 'DASH' charger out of the box. 

        Oneplus also teased the existence of water resistance and dust resistance through their tweet and released a video teasing this feature. They also mentioned that Oneplus 6 will shoot slow motion video at 960 fps but not revealing whether it is a 1080p of 720p.

       They also teased a video about the Oneplus 6 avengers edition and that will available as limited edition like star wars edition of Oneplus 5T.

       Oneplus 6 will might also come with ceramic back, according to the image teased by Oneplus through their twitter page.

Battery and Pricing:

        Oneplus 6 will comes with an 3450 mAh battery and will be available in three different variants. One with 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage which costs around 34,999(690 USD) Indian Rupees and other variant with 8GB of RAM with 128 GB internal storage which costs around 39,990(790 USD) Indian Rupees and the most expensive variant would be of 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage which costs around 44,990(890 USD) Indian Rupees according to the rumors.
